Medium: spray paint, vinyl, resin

Each wood cutout begins with high quality 3/4" plywood (never particle board or MDF). I use a combination of spray paint and vinyl to apply the designs to the wood. Next, I cut each piece to shape using a scroll saw and sand the edges. After the piece is cut, sanded, and cleaned I apply a thick coat of artist-grade epoxy resin for a nice protective sheen. The resin will cure for 24 hours and then I'll do a quick sanding on the back side of the piece to remove any resin drips along the perimeter. Finally, each piece is signed and hanging hardware is installed.

*Please note that occasional tiny dust particles in the resin finish are expected due to the nature of the medium. The greatest care has been taken to minimize such particles, and all items have passed careful inspection.
